Citing the most recent public health orders by the State of California and the County of San Diego addressing public gatherings during the current COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Vista’s Wave Waterpark 2020 season is pausing operations indefinitely. All Day Cabana Rental Information:cabana-map-2018

Pipeline Small Cabanas: (yellow) are 10ft x 10ft with one large picnic table and can accommodate 10-15 guests.

Kona Small Cabanas: (orange) are 10ft x 10ft with one round picnic table, 2 Adirondack chairs and can accommodate 10-15 people

Large Kahuna Cabanas: (green) are 10ft x 20ft with two large picnic tables and can accommodate 25-30 people.

Pricing:

  • Small Cabana - $60 (all day pricing - does not include Friday Night Splash hours)
  • Large Cabana - $80 (all day pricing - does not include Friday Night Splash hours)
  • Friday Night Splash Pricing (4-8pm only on June 12, June 26, July 10, July 24, August 7, and August 21) - $20 off regular pricing

Reservations:

Cabana reservations can be made in advance by calling The Wave Office at (760) 940-9283 (WAVE). Full payment will be taken at the time of the reservation. On the day of, available cabanas will be rented inside the park at the Wave Shack (no phone reservations will be taken on the day of). Cabanas are reserved on a first come, first serve basis.

Additional Information:

Decorations are permitted in your cabana as long as they stay contained in your cabana, cause no damage to the cabana, and are cleaned up at the end of your event. Due to safety reasons, we cannot allow guests into the park before operating hours to set-up or decorate in their cabanas. Cabanas are non refundable if cancelled within 72 hours of scheduled reservation. All cancellations are subject to a $5 processing fee.

Below is some additional descriptions for the location of each cabana in order to assist with your selection.

  • Cabana #1 (Kahuna): Located in the spray park area. Minor water mist from spray park in cabana area.
  • Cabana #2 (Kona): Located in the spray park area. 
  • Cabana #3 (Pipeline): Located close to the spray park area closest to the competition pool.
  • Cabana #4 (Kona): Located between the river and competition pool and is closest to the Surf Spot Grill.
  • Cabana #5 (Kona): Located between the river and competition pool and is near the deep end of the pool.
  • Cabana #6 (Pipeline): Located between the river and competition pool and faces the lazy river.
  • Cabana #7 (Kahuna): Located between the river and competition pool and is near the shallow end of the pool.
  • Cabana #8 (Pipeline): Located near the shallow end of the competition pool and river - near a grassy strip
  • Cabana #9 (Pipeline): Located near the river and next to a grassy strip - shares concrete pad with #10
  • Cabana #10 (Pipeline): Located near the river and next to a grassy strip - shares concrete pad with #9
  • Cabana #11 (Kahuna): Located near the catch pool of the slide tower and the river
  • Cabana #12 (Pipeline): Located on the Flow Rider deck - ramp access - overlooks Flow Rider and Rip Tide slide
  • Cabana #13 (Pipeline): Located on the Flow Rider deck - ramp access - overlooks Rip Tide slide
  • Cabana #14 (Kahuna): Located on the Flow Rider deck - ramp access - overlooks Rip Tide slide access, river & front of park
  • Cabana #15 (Pipeline): Located on the Flow Rider deck - ramp access - faces Flow Rider
  • Cabana #16 (Kahuna): Located on the Flow Rider deck - ramp access with 4 stairs down to area - overlooks river & front of park
